KEY AND DIALOGUE BOOKS

Before I left The Colony, I took a series of photos. These photos have resulted in the Millay Series. First there was the Photo sequence book. In an identical hand made book, I drew and painted visual notes as well as wrote about the drawings in The Key Book. This watercolor and computer image book is called the Dialogue Book. When the books are viewed simultaneously, there is a correlation of images and text on each corresponding page. By turning the divided pages and the transparent computer overlays a range of new images result. Copies were made of sections of the Dialogue Book. The copies were printed in color using a litho technique on gampi paper for the Millay Journal. Text from the Dialogue Book and photos from the Photo sequence book were also used.
